Black Women’s Conference on HIV/AIDS
I've just returned from speaking at the S.O.S. Conference in Orlando Florida. Be watching the
website for stories about the entertainment I had the opportunity to enjoy. Condom Miranda had the
entire room in hysterics and I suspect everyone there would have to say they learned something
about safe sex practices.

WooHoo!
I was contacted today by Kim Gallops of the Arthritis Foundation and asked to be the closing speaker
for the MASH (Make Arthritis Stop Hurting) Camp for the State of Alabama. I have been charged with
sending all of the attendees away motivated to live life to the fullest. Stay tuned for photos of the
event to be held August 2008 at Camp Grace west of Mobile, AL.
If it's Wednesday I must be lost. At least that's how I feel a lot of the time. When I have an opportunity to speak, whether it is with 1 person, a few people, a group of people, inside, outside, at a conference or under the moon - I grab that opportunity. Woe to the person who has to sit beside me on an airplane. I will talk to just about anyone, anytime about anything - anything being things like lupus, living with chronic illness, how life strikes me as the most humorous thing I am witness to, books, quotes, the sand on the beach, and the bizarre things that happen during a full moon. On this page I will try to keep you up to date on where I am, what I might be speaking about or to whom I may be speaking. Enjoy the ride and hope you know where you are on every Wednesday.

Whoooooa!!!
I just returned from The Erma Bombeck Writer's Workshop in Dayton, Ohio. I'm not sure if I'm
home yet or not. My mind is still at the workshop and I have work to do here. Stay tuned for more
meanderings.
